Where's the Love?

Well, I've been forced to change my avatar's attire because SOME PEOPLE (sara, erin, dad) can't handle a little self-exploration. Fine, fine. Put me in a box. Pin me down with all of your social restraints. Just don't ask me why I suddenly love Good Charlotte. It's all your fault. Welcome to My Life, no less. HAPPY? HAPPY?!?! Maybe I'm wearing a baseball uniform on the outside, but I'm dying on the inside...
That reminds me- have you seen that commercial where the dad gets the 'family talk' cell phone plan and he gives one to his daughter and says 'now you can call me when you're out with such and such' and then he hands one to his son who has the white makeup and the black eyeliner on and he's like "and you can call me from.. wherever it is you go...". I think that is the freaking funniest commercial ever. Rob doesn't think so. Lame.
A story from this week-
People in Bronxville have a staring problem. Seriously. It's not just like, quick glance over, keep going. They will out and out STARE YOU DOWN. So the other night, I go out to the car and I open the driver's side door and I'm getting ready to get in when I notice that this guy who was walking down the sidewalk has stopped dead in his tracks and is just standing there staring at me. Enough is enough, people. So I look at him and I say "WHAT!!?!?" He stares at me for a few more seconds and then he says to me "Where are you going?". Um.. pardon? So I say to him "That's none of your business!" He keeps staring at me. So, I'm getting freaked out now, so I get in my car and lock all the doors. Once I get inside, he starts walking again, but then I look in the mirror and he's stopped again and he's watching me pull away.
Riiighhhhtt...
Anyone else watching Project Runway? I love it. Sarah and Alex have got me hooked on it. Big finale tonight. My vote is Daniel. My ANTI-VOTE is Santino. I can't stand that guy.
Saturday Rob and I went into the city to mess around- we found this candy store in one of the New York books we have, so we thought we'd go check it out. It was pretty cool. Not exactly what I expected, but cool. I was thinking more like the candy store in Willy Wonka where they sing the "Candy man can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good" song. Not as clean as that place. I got chocolate covered cherries. Also we had dinner with Alex and Sarah at Cosi. Yum.
And Lastly...
Update on the Laura/Erin Variety Hour
Erin and I have been planning a public access show for some time now, and we've just come up with a new segment. It's called Ka-Pow. What we do is this-
We find someone we don't like for some reason. We go up to them and act like we're going to chat, and then.... we go "Guess what?" and they go "What?" and we say "KAPOW!" and then we punch them out. Then Erin and I turn and point toward the camera and say "This has been.. Kapow".
First victim of Kapow- the guy who asked me where I was going.
We're willing to take suggestions as well.
